PANGEA

Pangea Rocks was formed in 1994 and has become a leading company in the European aquarium and zoo exhibit industry. With a large team of talented rockwork technicians, artists, habitat designers and project managers the company has the ability to support sizeable projects on an international level. Their experienced engineers and estimators ensure safety standards are maintained and budgets are carefully co-ordinated and adhered to.

Apart from the ability to theme large zoos and aquatic parks, Pangea also specialises in artificial corals, other invertebrates, as well as artificial kelp, all made out of the highest quality durable, unbreakable and safe material.
Pangea artificial corals are cast from real corals using moulding materials that feature the highest degree of detail and texture, in the industry.

They are individually cast in non-toxic polyurethane elastomer which is dense, but retains flexibility so that unlike rigid resin corals they will not break or fracture when brushed by divers or sharks in larger aquaria, or by hands in smaller aquaria.
The coloration is integral to the material and is not applied to the surface only and as such retain their colour-fast qualities for many years.

Pangea corals feature a patented fixing system based on a nylon peg which is drilled and secured into the base reef work but allows the coral to be easily removed at a later date for cleaning.
