Jan is a very well travelled man, with interests in scuba diving, air racing, wildlife photography and spear fishing. He is a qualified architect with a bachelors of science degree from BTH Horsens, Denmark.
With an extensive knowledge of aquatic and other biotopes, Jan’s core competence is in creating and attributing themes to water parks and biotope based water bodies with livestock in them. If , for some reason, authentic natural material from the source of the attempted biotope is not available, then Jan is the man to make sure that it still looks authentic. With a wide experience of having aquascaped public aquaria and having designed theme parks in Europe, including zoos, Jan operates independently through his company Pangea Rocks, based in Denmark, and collaborates with Abhik on all artificial theme and decoration related aspects of aquarium set up, predominantly in more valuable installations.
